Afro Punk MPLS

A blazing hot summer day with a very diverse demographic. Afro Punk MPLS provided a safe place for various mediums of expressions. Local acts such as Essjay The Afrocentric Ratchet, Ricki Monique, Blood Body Smoke, MILOE and much more were in attendance sharing the stage with national artists like Noname and Ari Lennox.

The performances were engaging and well thought-out, they also ranged anywhere from indie sounds to genre-bending Hiphop. It was great to see different styles of music being capsulated into one stage.
